The past two weeks I was living in an apartment with two HUC students: Baily and Ira. Bailey will continue to live with me the rest of the year but Ira just left to move into his new apartment! We are sad that The Era of Ira has come to and end but we still have ulpan everyday and will be in the same program all year long, so not too concerned. The three of us ended the era by hosting a Shabbat dinner last week for our pre-ulpan group. It was great! We had tons of food and had lovely quality time together. In just a few weeks Bailiy and I will be welcoming Rena who will be our third roommate. She is a friend of mine from URJ Camp Kalsman and we are excited to share the apartment with her and to host many festive holiday meals and parties throughout our year together.
